The books act as a fact file with details of a person’s background, interests and the people and things that are important to them. They can help spark memories and prompt conversations with friends and family, as well as health and care workers.![]()
Leigh is based at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, and the service is provided by a number of Speech and Language Therapy healthcare support workers at sites across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. ![]()

LGBTQ+ colleagues from the @NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and NHS Golden Jubilee Boards joined forces for a second year to host the LGBTQ+ Leadership Event. The event gives attendees the opportunity to connect and look back at the key moments that contribute towards shaping personal identity and individual leadership journeys.![]()
Over 40 delegates from diverse roles and departments across both health boards explored the impact of authentic leadership, the power of connection, compassion, civility and community, including keynote speeches from inspirational speakers, interactive discussions, pauses for reflection and social networking.
