In this issue Jane talks about: Cabinet Secretary visit to Inverclyde Royal Hospital and Glasgow Royal Infirmary, the robotics team at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary have recently celebrated a ground-breaking achievement, Junior Doctors across Scotland have voted to accept the pay offer from the Scottish Government, Dr Ioanna Nixon, the Clinical Director of the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, has been announced as a finalist in the Services to Medicine category at this year’s Scottish Women’s Award, the closing date for the Scottish Health Awards has now passed, the public vote for the People’s Choice Award winner will open from Monday 18 September, the Patient Experience and Public Involvement Team has been shortlisted for an award for their engagement with maternity services users & our patient feedback this week is about several teams and how collectively, staff from the GRI, Beatson and East Renfrewshire HSCP delivered a great standard of patient centred treatment and support.
