School children from St. Mungo’s primary in Glasgow showcased their singing talents at the Glasgow Royal infirmary on Tuesday.
The Primary three to seven pupils sang Christmas carols in various area of the hospital to help spread the Christmas cheer.
This was the choir’s first outing where they performed a number of Christmas hits to passers-by and patients currently receiving care at the GRI.
John Stuart, from the Friends of GRI, said: “This was a fantastic afternoon for both the patients and kids who were in attendance.
“It can be very nerve-racking coming to a hospital as a child but the pupils from St. Mungo’s Primary blew us all away with their upbeat songs and festive spirit.
“It was great to see the smiles on faces of those currently in care in the hospital as Christmas can be a tough time for patients.
“For a first outing for the choir, this was a great show and we look forward to welcoming the school back in the future.
“I would like to thank all of the kids at St. Mungo Primary and those who kindly donated in what was a great festive afternoon at the GRI.”
