Course Overview
This programme has been developed to provide supervisors/managers with all the necessary information they require when inducting new members of staff to their team.
Information provided will give managers an awareness of induction requirements including the Health Care Support Worker induction standards and code of conduct to help ensure safe, effective and person centred care for all patients and service users.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Describe the responsibilities for managers/supervisors in facilitating induction for members for staff
- Demonstrate the use of the NHSGGC Induction Portal and induction check-list in supporting induction
- Explain recording and monitoring process and non-compliance issues

- All managers and or supervisors and team leads who are responsible for facilitating the induction portal
Pre-requisites
- No prior requirements although delegates are encourage to familiarise themselves with the induction portal.
